We produce our own seeds to ensure the best quality material and help early stage of development.
Our farmers pollinate every flower by hand. The petals will give birth to a long, thin pod.
The pods are ready to be yield at month 9. We immersed the fresh Vanilla beans into hot water to stop the enzymatic process.
The beans are placed into wood blankets to continue sweating.
The natural drying process will last up to 6 weeks. The beans will then be placed at the shades to slow dry and mature.
Pods mature into wood boxes to develop their full aroma. Beans are weekly checked to ensure their quality. We final grade our pods depending on their visual appearance, moisture content and vanilin percentage.
